The role offers £40,000-£45,000 per annum and is available for an immediate start. The opportunity This assignment will suit a hands-on accountant who can support dependable month-end reporting while helping a finance team through a systems change. You will combine core accounting work with forecasting, order-to-cash activity and careful validation of migrated data. Key responsibilities • Prepare accruals and prepayments at month end, supported by clear reconciliations. • Assist with forecasting and explain movements against budget and previous periods. • Support billing, cash allocation and query resolution across the order-to-cash cycle. • Map information between finance systems and verify migrated balances and transactions. • Complete balance-sheet reconciliations and investigate outstanding items. • Contribute to management reporting and provide useful commentary on performance. • Identify process gaps and help strengthen controls throughout the system transition.
