Management Accountant - Interim with potential for perm

Reed Finance is recruiting on behalf of a growing SME in Sunderland seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on an initial temporary basis.This is a hands-on role with real scope to make an impact quickly. While the position is initially temporary, there is potential for the right individual to be considered for a longer-term or permanent opportunity as the business continues to evolve.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly management accounts with supporting analysis and commentaryBalance sheet reconciliations and ensuring accuracy across the ledgerManaging accruals and prepaymentsSupporting budgeting and forecasting processesVariance analysis and providing insight to support decision-makingAssisting with month-end close and continuous process improvementsLiaising with stakeholders across the business to support financial understandingSupporting audit requirements where neededAbout YouProven experience in a Management Accountant or similar rolePart-qualified, qualified (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experienceStrong Excel skills and ability to work with data efficientlyConfident communicator with the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamProactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environmentWhat''s on OfferOpportunity to join a friendly, growing businessExposure to a broad and varied finance rolePotential for the position to develop into a permanent role (not guaranteed)Immediate or ..... full job details .....
