This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who can take ownership of core management accounting duties and provide reliable support through month-end. The role would suit a part-qualified accountant or someone qualified by experience (QBE) who is confident working independently, has strong Excel skills and can hit the ground running in a busy finance team. The role will include: - Preparing monthly management accounts, including profit and loss and balance sheet reporting. - Posting journals, accruals and prepayments, alongside completing control account reconciliations. - Maintaining fixed asset and tool hire schedules. - Investigating and explaining variances across margins, overheads, budgets and forecasts. - Preparing supplier BACS payments and submitting quarterly VAT returns. - ...
