Sheridan Maine is pleased to be working with a well-established retail group seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment, providing financial insight and analysis to support business decision-making.
 
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:

- Prepare month-end journals and provide commentary on PandL and Balance Sheet variances.
- Maintain rolling forecasts and annual budgets, liaising with key stakeholders.
- Support financial reporting related to capital expenditure and cost control.
- Assist in the year-end audit process, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with business partners to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

 
The successful Management Accountant will require:

- Qualified or Part-Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Experience in management accounting, reporting, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
