Management Accountant

Your new company An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established industrial manufacturing and processing business. Operating within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, this hands-on role sits within a small finance team and is ideally suited to an individual who enjoys ownership, variety, and working closely with operational stakeholders.The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate management reporting, maintaining robust financial controls, and providing valuable financial insight to support business performance and continuous improvement initiatives.Your new role Prepare monthly management accounts including profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, and supporting commentary.Take ownership of key aspects of the month-end close process and ensure strong financial controls are maintained.Analyse financial performance, investigate variances, and provide meaningful insight to support commercial decision-making.Manage core sales ledger activities including invoicing, credit control, reconciliations, revenue recognition, and cash collection support.Support stock accounting processes, including inventory reconciliations, stock valuation, and operational cost reporting.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, VAT returns, fixed asset management, and year-end audit requirements.Identify and implement opportunities to improve finance ..... full job details .....
