Senior Management Accountant - ContractLocation: Outskirts of Cheltenham Contract: 3/4 months (with potential extension) Salary: C.£60,000 - Paid via Day Rate About the RoleHays are exclusively partnering with a fast-growing and dynamic business on the outskirts of Cheltenham, to recruit a Senior Management Accountant for an initial 3-4 month period. This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment. Working closely with operations, you will play a key role in delivering accurate reporting, improving processes, and simplifying complex financial data to support decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction of weekly and monthly management reporting for operational stakeholdersOwnership of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and integrityReconciliation of stock accountsAnalysis of operational statistics and performance dataReconciliation and management of supplier rebatesWork with large, complex data sets (mostly Excel) to produce clear and actionable insightsSupporting process improvements, particularly around existing spreadsheet-based systemsKnowledgeable of IFRS16 practicesPerson SpecificationFully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred; strong QBE candidates will also be considered.Proven experience in a Management Accounting or similar role.Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail.Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to manage and simplify complex data.Strong ..... full job details .....
