Your new company Hays are delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing education organisation in Staffordshire with the recruitment of a Management Accountant.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a collaborative central finance team and play a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting and decision-making across a diverse organisation with a strong community focus.Your new role Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.Working closely with senior leaders and budget holders, you will provide financial insight, challenge and support to ensure robust financial management across the organisation.Key responsibilities will include:Producing monthly management accounts and financial reportsSupporting the annual budgeting and forecasting processProviding detailed financial analysis and commentaryMonitoring budgets and supporting budget holders with financial performanceAssisting with year-end activities and statutory reporting requirementsEnsuring strong financial controls and compliance are maintainedSupporting financial planning and the long-term sustainability of the organisationBuilding strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple sites and departmentsWhat you''ll need to succeed Applications are welcomed from ambitious and motivated finance ..... full job details .....
