Your new companyOur client is a well-established leader in the business services sector, known for delivering excellence and innovation. They are currently seeking a talented and driven Management Accountant to join their finance team on a temporary to permanent basis.Your new roleAs a Management Accountant, your core duties will include:Monthly Reporting:Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accountsPost monthly journal entries, including accruals and prepaymentsConduct PandL reviews with variance analysis and commentary in line with group finance policiesBalance Sheet and Compliance:Review and reconcile key balance sheet accounts regularlyManage VAT returns and intercompany balances to ensure statutory complianceAudit and Controls:Prepare audit schedules, respond to external audit queries, and provide supporting analysisPartner with the Finance Controller to design and implement robust financial controls and systemsCash and Banking:Oversee daily bank reconciliationsPrepare weekly cash flow forecasts for review and submission to Group FinanceAsset and Forecast Management:Maintain and manage the fixed asset registerSupport quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) calculationsCollaboration and Oversight:Work closely with administrative and support teams to meet monthly deadlinesSupervise the Accounts Assistant and contribute to team developmentWhat ..... full job details .....
