Working within a structured and well-governed environment, this role offers broad exposure across statutory reporting, management accounts, audit, and process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver month-end close activities, alongside quarterly and annual reporting requirementsPrepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accurate recording of assets and liabilitiesPrepare management accounts with meaningful analysisComplete reporting and variance analysisMaintain standard costing and ensure accurate inventory/stock valuationProduce monthly stock analysis and supporting commentarySupport the preparation and submission of statutory financial statements for assigned entitiesAssist with budgeting and forecasting processesBuild strong relationships with internal and external audit teams, ensuring audit deliverables are prepared on time and issues are resolved effectivelySupport external audits and ongoing compliance requirementsTake ownership of ad-hoc accounting projects as requiredContribute to process documentation and continuous improvement across the finance functionAbout YouQualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)Strong attention to detail with a solid understanding of core accounting principlesConfident working to deadlines within a reporting-led ..... full job details .....
