The role focuses on ensuring robust financial controls and efficient reporting processes to minimise the risk of errors and improve business insight. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate monthly management accounts in line with internal reporting timetables. Maintain and enhance financial processes and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance. Manage month-end close activities, including journals, accruals, and prepayments. Produce and review consolidated balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy through collaboration with key stakeholders. Assist with the preparation and delivery of statutory accounts and external audit requirements. Work closely with department heads to provide financial support and challenge business assumptions.
