Management Accountant - German Speaking

Reed Finance is delighted to be partnering with a global organisation to recruit an experienced and detail-driven German Speaking Management Accountant to support their Regional and Head Office finance functions.Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, this is a pivotal role where you will take ownership of core management accounting processes, ensure accurate reporting, and act as a key finance contact for the German region. You will work closely with both UK colleagues and the wider EMEA finance team to deliver high-quality financial information and drive operational efficiency.MUST BE FLUENT IN GERMAN TO AT LEAST AN INTERMEDIATE/BUSINESS LEVELDuties Include:Manage the purchase ledger and maintain accurate financial transactions within the general ledger.Prepare monthly management accounts, including PandL and variance analysis.Complete account reconciliations and month-end close tasks (prepayments, accruals, fixed assets).Post and reconcile IFRS16 leases.Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and contribute to consolidation/reporting packages.Produce rolling cash forecasts.Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations (including German GAAP - HAB).Prepare monthly payroll for the German region.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis for the wider business.Support audit processes and maintain robust financial records.Collaborate closely with regional finance teams to resolve intercompany issues and ..... full job details .....
