As the business continues to expand, we are seeking a commercially focused Management Accountant to strengthen financial control, improve project visibility, and support operational decision-making across multiple entities and projects in the UK and EuropeClient DetailsWell established, privately owned and growing Engineering Group with a great culture, based near Mansfield and expanding internationallyDescriptionWork with other departments on contracts in Europe and worldwide to ensure that the most efficient methods (time and financial) are utilisedUnderstand European and international VAT implications of goods movements from within Europe and from and into the UKTo assist in the VAT triangulation in Europe and ensuring the best practice is followedHelp and support the transport department with import and export - to include Incoterms, CPC codes and other import/export issuesManaging projects on an inter company basis, to ensure revenue recognition remains consistent Assist in the preparation of the quarterly management accounts for all group companiesDeliver variance analysis and commentary against budget, forecast, and prior periods.Support monthly quarterly, and year-end close processes.Assist with statutory audit requirements and year-end reporting.Produce cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis.Maintain accurate project accounting across engineering and manufacturing contracts.Manage Work in Progress (WIP) reporting, ensuring appropriate recognition of ..... full job details .....
