Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a varied role that combines management accounting, financial analysis and business partnering, giving you the opportunity to work closely with managers across the business and influence key decisions.This isn''t just about producing reports and ticking off month-end tasks. You''ll be helping the wider business understand what the numbers are telling them, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing insight that can improve profitability, productivity and performance.What will you be doing?You''ll have a broad remit, including:Preparing month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations and monthly management reporting.Working closely with departmental managers and budget holders to improve understanding and ownership of financial performance.Leading and coordinating the annual UK budgeting process.Preparing and maintaining monthly forecasts, including cash flow forecasts.Preparing and reviewing job costings and identifying potential risks.Carrying out detailed analysis of expenditure, profitability and cost drivers.Providing financial insight and analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making.Identifying opportunities to improve processes, data ..... full job details .....
