Management Accountant Pickering Up to £45,000We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for a Management Accountant to join their Pickering site.The OpportunityAs Management Accountant, you will sit on the Site Leadership Team and partner closely with the Plant Director and Group Finance Director. This is far more than a reporting role - you will provide meaningful financial insight, challenge performance, and support strategic decision-making.You will also lead a small on-site finance team and take full responsibility for financial control, reporting, and forecasting.Key ResponsibilitiesOwnership of monthly management accounts and variance analysisBudgeting, forecasting, and financial planningMaintain strong financial controls and governanceBusiness partner with operations to improve margins, labour efficiency, and cost performanceProvide insight on KPIs including scrap, yield, and productivitySupport capital expenditure appraisals and business casesAbout YouACA / ACCA / CIMA part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experienceBackground in manufacturing or a product-led environmentStrong commercial acumen with the confidence to influence and challengeHands-on, operationally engaged approachPrevious experience in a site-based management accounting ..... full job details .....
