Management Accountant

Our client a private equity backed organisation in the early years education sector seeking a Management Accountant.This private equity backed organisation is in an active buy-and-build phase, operating across multiple sites, and undergoing significant investment and transformation.As Management Accountant, reporting to the Financial Controller you will take ownership of the monthly management accounts process, support budgeting and forecasting cycles, and deliver insightful analysis.Key duties include:Month End and Financial ControlPrepare all journals and postings for an accurate, right first time month end closeProduce monthly balance sheet reconciliationsEnsure transactional processes align with reporting requirementsIdentify opportunities to strengthen financial controls and streamline close processesBudgets and ForecastingSupport the production of annual budgets and in year reforecastsDeliver monthly variance analysis against budget and forecastProcess Improvement and GovernanceSupport the Financial Controller in enhancing controls, documentation and accounting policiesContribute to reducing month end reporting timelinesAct as a key user and champion of the Datarails systemFinancial AnalysisProvide value adding analysis to senior leadership to support decision makingAssist with ad hoc analysis and board level reportingThe most suitable Management Accountant applicant will have:CIMA/ACCA part qualified status (or equivalent) with 4+ years'' experienceStrong management ..... full job details .....
