Management Accountant

As a Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in the month-end and year-end processes, maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring robust reconciliations across key accounts. This position requires a detail-oriented, proactive professional who is eager to work in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. Hybrid working, officed based in Central London 1 or 2 days a week, with the rest remote. We are hiring on a Temporary-to-Permanent basis, so ideal applicants will need to be available immediately. Key Responsibilities Prepare timely and accurate management reports to support business performance and strategic decision-making. Post and reconcile monthly journals, including: Prepayments Vehicles Employer s Public Liability Depreciation Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register. Produce and review the trial balance and ensure alignment with financial reporting standards. Complete National Statistics submissions as required. Reconcile: Loan accounts Balance sheet nominals Debtors and creditors control accounts Conduct reconciliations between systems. Prepare and analyse bank reports and ensure accurate reconciliation. Lead and manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met. Manage accruals and prepayment journals: Annual accruals Monthly supplier accruals Provide cover for Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Payroll functions as needed.
