Management Accountant - 12-Month FTC - -40,000pa

Location: Banbury (on-site)
Contract: Fixed Term (1 year)
Salary: -40,000 per annum

Morgan McKinley are proud to be representing an exciting business in Banbury to source a Management Accountant to join their diverse and growing Finance Team.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day financial operations and deliver insightful management reporting in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Strong Excel skills are essential - you''ll need to be confident working with complex spreadsheets, analysing data, and enhancing existing reports to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts

• Deliver weekly KPI reporting and financial analysis

• Manage accruals, prepayments, journals, and reconciliations

• Oversee project accounting and cost control

• Maintain and improve accounts payable processes and supplier payments

• Submit VAT returns and manage bank and credit card reconciliations

• Support operational teams with finance queries and reporting

• Drive continuous improvement across financial systems and processes

What we''re looking for:

• 3+ years'' experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role

• Excellent Excel skills - able to build and improve reports

• High attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills

• Sage 200 and SME experience preferred

• Proactive, self-motivated, and confident meeting deadlines
