Management Accountant

Ashley Kate Finance is proud to be working with a long-established business based in South Lincolnshire, as they look to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a commercially minded, hands-on finance professional who thrives on leading the month-end process and adding value through operational support. The role involves close collaboration with both finance and non-finance teams, contributing significantly to financial clarity and performance across the business.

Main responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and variance analysis
• Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Partnering with operational departments to deliver financial insights and guidance
• Producing essential reports and KPIs to support commercial strategy
• Supporting year-end processes and audit preparation
• Driving improvements in financial systems and internal controls

The ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrable experience in a Management Accountant role
• Strong Excel capabilities and confident using finance systems
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across functions
• A background in manufacturing or a product-driven environment (preferred)
• A relevant accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA - part or fully qualified), or be qualified by experience

Offer details:

• Salary up to -45,000, depending on experience
