The Michael Page Public Sector Finance team is partnering with a dynamic, community-focused organisation based in Redcar to recruit for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

Description

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes across the department.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insightful variance analysis.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Assist with year-end processes, including liaising with external auditors.
• Maintain and improve financial controls and procedures within the organisation.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making within the property sector.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting standards at all times.

Profile

The successful Management Accountant should have:

• Part or fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA - active study if part qualified)
• Previous experience in management accounting, ideally within the housing sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• An ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to managing workloads and meeting deadlines.

Job Offer
