Management Accountant

A global business centred in Norwich is looking to expand its finance team by appointing a new Group Management Accountant. This exceptional brand has seen exciting changes within its Group following a period of continual growth. Joining an extremely skilled team, the Group Management Accountant will be responsible for the following duties:

• Production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts for different trading entities
• Responsible for the financial records for the relevant trading entities
• Production of budgets & forecasts
• Variance analysis and partnering with management heads
• Full balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
• Production and distribution of monthly reporting to budget by cost centre
• Submission of VAT returns and EC Sales for the group
• Weekly GRN postings
• Authorizing bank payments
• Assisting Finance Controller/Director
• Overhead analysis and other ad hoc duties

The ideal candidate will boast a skill set comprising of commercial awareness and technical astuteness. Key personal attributes are as follows:

• Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Understanding of robust management accounting principles
• A strong communicator and inquisitive by nature
• Able to work to deadlines
