Purpose of the role
Provide comprehensive management accounting support, including preparing monthly accounts, monitoring financial performance, producing key reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee smooth month-end close processes.

• Prepare monthly financial results and detailed cost analysis against budgets and prior periods.

• Support budget preparation and financial forecasting.

• Assist with year-end audits and statutory reporting.

• Produce and submit VAT and other compliance returns.

• Maintain cash flow reports and monitor currency positions.

• Support debt management and reconciliations.

• Manage intercompany reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Drive process improvements within the finance function.

• Contribute to ad hoc projects as required.

Skills & experience

• ACCA / CIMA qualified

• Excellent accounting knowledge and attention to detail

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Proactive, resilient, and confident challenging existing processes

• Strong spreadsheet and reporting skills
