In this pivotal role, you will attend and contribute to regular management meetings alongside senior business figures, supporting key decisions and strategic direction. You will be responsible for backing the annual budget process, ensuring our budgets are clear, achievable, and closely connected to tangible benefits and deliverables. Your expertise will help prepare vital regulatory submissions to Ofgem, ensuring compliance and excellence in all our financial reporting.

We are seeking a qualified accountant or a near finalist (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) who can confidently partner across the business, engaging with senior management and executive teams. You should possess the ability to translate complex financial data into valuable insights that drive business performance. Advanced Excel skills, such as PivotTables, SUMIFs, and XLOOKUPs, are essential to streamline and automate repeated processes. Familiarity with SQL, PowerQuery, PowerBI, and other AI tools is an advantage, as is experience working within regulated industries.
