The organisation operates a group of services across the city and employs almost 200 people, with a turnover of around £6m. It is unusual in that it delivers much of its work in areas where commercial providers have withdrawn, and any surplus is reinvested rather than distributed. The culture is deliberately family friendly and the working pattern is genuinely flexible.The position is 24 hours per week and the organisation is open on how those hours are arranged, whether that is three full days or spread more widely across the week.
