Management AccountantBuryPermanent - on-site£40,000 - £45,000 DOE Are you a qualified or nearly qualified Management Accountant looking for a role where you can take ownership of month-end and develop your technical and commercial skills?This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive finance team, working across three trading entities. You''ll have a varied role covering management accounts, reconciliations, journals, VAT, controls and financial analysis, with plenty of scope to develop.What You''ll Be DoingOwn month-end activities across three entities Prepare and review PandL and balance sheet accounts Post journals including accruals, prepayments and depreciation Complete and review bank, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting Handle more hands-on accounting duties including AP, AR, fixed assets and VAT where required Investigate financial trends, variances and unusual movements Support audit and SOX control requirements Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting Build strong relationships with operational and commercial teamsWhat We''re Looking ForACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified, nearly qualified or qualified by experience Strong understanding of double-entry accounting and month-end processes Experience with journals, reconciliations, accruals and prepayments Strong Excel skills and confidence analysing financial data Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot trends and ..... full job details .....
