Management Accountant

Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Management Accountant for an established manufacturing business based in South Somerset, easily commutable from East Devon, Taunton and Yeovil.Reporting to the Finance Director, you''ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and providing commercial insight to support operational decision-making across the site. This role has arisen due to retirement, offering a strong handover and long-term stability.Key responsibilitiesProduce weekly and monthly management reports and KPIsSupport month-end close, including journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare and submit VAT returnsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisBusiness partner with operational and non-finance stakeholdersSupport cashflow reporting and working capital managementRaise sales invoices and credit notes where requiredCollate payroll information for submission to Group payrollSupport year-end audit processes and ad-hoc finance projectsAssist with ERP reporting and future system migrationAbout youQualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), or part-qualified and studyingBackground in manufacturing or engineering, or from practice with manufacturing clientsStrong management accounting and reporting experienceConfident Excel user with exposure to ERP systemsHands-on, commercially aware, and comfortable working with non-finance teamsWhat''s on offerSalary up to £50,000Study support for part-qualified candidatesGenerous holiday ..... full job details .....
