Management Accountant

We''re working with a large, respected organisation in the education sector that''s looking to hire a Management Accountant to act as the Number 2 to a hands-on CFO. The Role Reporting directly to the CFO, you''ll play a key role in the day-to-day financial management of the organisation, supporting both operational and strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities will include:Producing monthly management accounts and variance analysisBudgeting, forecasting, and cashflow reportingSupporting year-end and audit processesImproving financial controls and processesPartnering with senior stakeholders across the organisationDeputising for the CFO where required This is a hands-on role with real visibility - perfect for someone who enjoys being close to the detail but also wants to think commercially. The Person You will be:Fully qualified (ACCA / ICAEW / CIMA)Experienced in management accounting and reportingConfident working directly with a CFO and senior leadersComfortable in a fast-moving, multi-stakeholder environmentKeen to develop into a broader leadership role Experience in education, not-for-profit, or complex organisations would be an advantage, but is not essential.
