Management Accountant

The Role: We are pleased to be exclusively partnered with a high performing, multi-entity business based in Leicester as they look to add a Management Accountant into their Group Finance team. This role sits within a well-structured finance function and offers the opportunity to take ownership of key reporting areas, ensuring accurate financial control and high-quality management information across multiple revenue streams. The position will suit someone with strong technical accounting capability and attention to detail, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to robust financial reporting processes.Key Responsibilities: • Prepare monthly management accounts across allocated revenue streams and associated entities, including full PandL and balance sheet reporting. • Deliver detailed variance analysis with clear and concise commentary on financial performance. • Maintain ownership of reporting schedules and supporting working papers. • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all journals and adjustments are completed accurately and on time. • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are complete, well-supported, and any discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly. • Oversee revenue reporting schedules, ensuring income is recognised in line with accounting policies. • Support statutory reporting requirements, including audit deliverables and responding to auditor queries. • Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes, controls, and ..... full job details .....
