Cost management prepayment month end accurals Management Accountant London / Hybrid Minimum 2 days in the officeReporting to: Group Financial Controller We''re looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Cost Management Accountant to join a growing Finance team. This is a hands-on role with genuine ownership across cost accounting, month-end, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. You''ll work closely with department heads, helping them understand their numbers, identify cost drivers and make informed decisions. If you''re currently working in an SME or fast-paced environment, enjoy having a broad remit and want a role where your ideas and input are valued, this could be a great next step.What you''ll be doing Own cost-related month-end, including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and journals. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances. Deliver cost, spend and variance analysis with clear commentary. Prepare cashflow forecasts, budgets and management reporting. Business partner with department heads to understand spend and cost drivers. Support VAT, audit, AP and intercompany processes. Identify opportunities to improve controls, processes and reporting. Own the company card expenditure process through Spendesk. About you We''re looking for someone who is: Ambitious, curious and commercially minded.
