Management Accountant

This is an excellent opportunity to become the Number Two in Finance, working closely alongside an experienced Financial Controller and playing a key role in the day-to-day financial management of a successful and growing business. The Role Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you''ll be responsible for delivering accurate financial information, supporting business decision-making, and ensuring robust financial controls are maintained. You''ll work across both financial and management accounting, with the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and commercial projects. Key responsibilities include:Producing monthly management accounts and supporting month-end close.Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger.Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.Analysing manufacturing costs, margins and operational performance.Supporting stock accounting and inventory reporting.Preparing VAT returns and assisting with statutory reporting requirements.Supporting year-end audit processes and liaising with external auditors.Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and ..... full job details .....
