Management Accountant

Axon Moore are exclusively recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Blackpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys improving processes, driving efficiencies and adding value beyond the numbers. The business has recently completed a major system implementation project and is now looking for an individual who can help optimise reporting, streamline finance processes and support the continued development of the finance function. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across the department.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly management accounts and supporting commentaryOwnership of month-end processes, ensuring timely and accurate reportingBalance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of financial controlsSupport budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting activitiesAnalyse financial performance and provide meaningful insights to stakeholdersDrive process improvements across finance and wider business operationsAssist with embedding and optimising recently implemented finance systemsSupport year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting processesBusiness partner with operational teams to improve financial understanding and decision-makingAbout YouPart-qualified, finalist or qualified accountant ..... full job details .....
