Management Accountant

Axon Moore are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing business in Manchester city centre, to appoint a Management Accountant to the team. The business has grown consistently year on year and continues to scale rapidly. They are looking to build a finance team who will drive the business forward by delivering meaningful insight to help the wider business make better decisions and this role is a key part of that.You''ll report to the Head of Finance, taking ownership of the month-end process whilst helping to build reporting, controls and systems to gear up for the next period of growth. This role offers a genuine opportunity to grow into a future Finance Manager or Finance Business Partner position as the business continues to expand.Salary and Benefits 45-55k DOE, hybrid working 3 days in the office, early finish Fridays, central Manchester location, 2 weeks Christmas close down, Medicash, Pension, 24 days holiday plus banks.Key Responsibilities Own the month-end close process, preparing accurate monthly management accounts, journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and management reporting.Ensure accurate revenue recognition, review COGS, manufacturing margins, inventory movements and project profitability to support reliable financial reporting.Produce insightful financial analysis and reporting on business performance, revenue streams, sales, margins and operational trends to support decision-making.Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, ..... full job details .....
