Management Accountant

Management Accountant initial 6-month FTC up to £65,000 per annum Altum Consulting are partnering with a leading hospitality business in Central London to recruit a Management Accountant on an initial 6-month fixed term contract. We will consider profiles that are immediately available to interview and start. The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering high-quality management accounting, forecasting and financial analysis, while working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to provide meaningful insight into business performance.Key Responsibilities:Prepare monthly management accounts for designated business areas, sites and cost centres, including journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and month-end close activities.Deliver clear variance analysis and commentary against budget, forecast and prior-year performance, with a focus on key hospitality metrics including revenue, labour costs, margins, overheads and controllable costs.Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to review business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide financial insight to support decision-making.Support budgeting, forecasting and planning cycles, working closely with budget holders to review assumptions, manage costs and improve forecast accuracy.Track project and investment spend, supporting business cases, financial modelling and post-project performance analysis.Produce accurate financial reports and analysis to support senior finance, ..... full job details .....
