Management Accountant

Job Title: Management AccountantLocation: KnutsfordSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + exceptional benefits Permanent, Full-time, Fully office based An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a well-established manufacturing business operating across multiple UK sites. This is a highly visible role within a collaborative finance team, offering the opportunity to play a key part in financial reporting, costing, and inventory management processes.Key Responsibilities:Prepare accurate monthly management accounts in line with internal reporting deadlines.Provide detailed analysis and commentary on financial performance, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.Reconcile intercompany balances across group entities.Partner with operational teams to monitor and forecast overhead costs.Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.Reconcile stock ledgers to balance sheet and investigate discrepancies.Maintain and develop the standard costing system, including materials, labour, and overheads.Produce monthly variance reports (including PPV, usage, and labour variances).Investigate and resolve stock and costing variances to ensure accuracy.Support stock takes, including auditing counts and processing adjustments.Prepare postings for e-commerce transactions and profit in stock calculations.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations.About You:Part qualified or fully qualified (CIMA, ..... full job details .....
