The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality financial information, insight, and advice is provided to the Development function and wider leadership team.My client is happy to consider candidates outside of the housing so long it is working with another public sector organisation. Key Responsibilities:Support the production of monthly management accounts and financial forecasts related to the development programme.Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, highlighting risks, opportunities, and variances.Assist in preparing financial information for corporate management accounts, including intercompany consolidation.Provide financial support to budget holders, enabling effective financial planning and performance management.Lead specific areas of the budgeting process, driving continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations with a focus on accuracy and clarity.Support the preparation of statutory accounts and regulatory returns in line with organisational policies.Conduct financial appraisals ..... full job details .....
