Management Accountant - 9 Month Contract Essex / Hertfordshire Border Hybrid Working £70,000 - £75,000 + benefits An established and value-driven organisation is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to provide contract support during a period of strategic change and project activity. This is a broad and commercially focused finance role that offers exposure across financial planning, management reporting, business partnering, budgeting and forecasting, whilst supporting senior stakeholders in delivering informed decision-making. The successful candidate will combine strong technical accounting expertise with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reporting. Analyse financial performance, identifying key variances, trends and opportunities for improvement. Support annual budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes. Partner with operational teams and budget holders to improve financial understanding and performance. Assist with the preparation of business cases and financial modelling. Deliver insightful reporting, dashboards and management information packs. Undertake financial due diligence and risk assessment activities. Support process improvement initiatives and finance transformation projects. Assist with the development of financial performance metrics and reporting frameworks.
