Management Accountant

Management Accountant Reports to: Financial ControllerCompany: R3 Polygon UK Limited (and its subsidiaries)The Position:The Management Accountant is responsible for providing accurate, timely and insightful financial information to support effective decision-making across Polygon. This role plays a key role in financial control, performance reporting, budgeting and forecasting, helping the business to understand performance, manage costs and drive continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Financial reportingPrepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow reporting and associated KPIsAssist in month-end processes, ensuring journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet account reconciliations are completed in accordance with policies and deadlinesEnsure compliance with UK accounting standards (e.g. UK GAAP or IFRS)Cash FlowSupport cash flow forecasting and working capital managementInternal Controls, Compliance and AuditMaintain strong financial controls and processesEnsure compliance with tax laws and regulations (VAT, corporation tax, CIS)Assist with year-end audit preparation and statutory reportingBudgeting and ForecastingAssist with the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, working closely with budget holders and senior leadersProduce meaningful financial analysis and commentary to explain business performance, trends, risks and opportunitiesAssist with creating and developing financial ..... full job details .....
