Rate: Starting at -39 an hour

Turner Lovell is supporting a leading energy infrastructure contractor with a strong track record of delivering complex electrical and mechanical projects across the UK.
We are currently seeking an experienced M&E Site Supervisor to support a major infrastructure project in North Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising Mechanical and Electrical site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme, quality, and client requirements.
Working closely with the Site Manager and wider project team, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of M&E activities, leading subcontractors and site teams and ensuring work fronts are properly planned, resourced, and executed.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day M&E site activities
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery
- Support the planning and sequencing of M&E works in line with the project programme
- Ensure labour, plant, materials, and technical information are available when required
- Monitor progress and identify and escalate any risks, delays, or issues
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with RAMS, SHEQ procedures, and site requirements
- Conduct and support toolbox talks and daily site briefings
- Liaise with the Site Manager, engineers, subcontractors, and project management team
- Maintain accurate site records, progress updates, and relevant documentation
- Ensure a strong focus on health, safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the project
Requirements
- Proven experience as an M&E Site Supervisor / Supervisor on major infrastructure or construction projects
- Strong Mechanical or Electrical background
- Experience supervising subcontractors and site teams
- Previous experience within energy, power, utilities, HV, industrial, or other safety-critical environments
- Valid CSCS or relevant site safety qualification
- SSSTS or SMSTS preferred
- Strong understanding of RAMS, site safety procedures, and construction processes
- Ability to coordinate multiple work fronts and maintain programme delivery
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
