M&E Quantity Surveyor – London – 12-Month Contract – £400/day DOE

Join a market-leading M&E contractor delivering some of London’s most high-profile building services projects. We’re looking for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor who can take ownership of commercial management and drive project profitability from day one.

This role offers 12 months of guaranteed work, a strong day rate, and the chance to work on complex, flagship M&E schemes in the heart of the capital.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with Project Managers to exceed commercial targets.

• Take full control of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.

• Prepare valuations and payment applications with precision.

• Manage subcontractor accounts and upstream contractual requirements.

• Spot, value, and recover changes, variations, and claims.

• Protect the business by ensuring all contractual obligations are met.

• Maintain rock-solid project records for claims, EOTs, and variations.

• Support tender submissions and contribute to strategic decisions.

• Build strong, professional relationships across all project stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven M&E Quantity Surveying experience.

• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, construction processes, and NEC contracts.

• Skilled in negotiation, communication, and problem solving.

• Solid understanding of construction law and commercial risk.

• Previous success on large-scale MEP projects.

• Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).

• Valid CSCS card.
