M&E Project Electrician
The Role
We are seeking an experienced M&E Project Electrician to work across commercial and residential projects in high-profile, occupied buildings. The role involves installing, maintaining, and fault-finding on electrical systems, including lighting and small power, while ensuring safety standards and regulations are met.
This position is well-suited to a technically skilled, client-facing electrician with strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to deliver high standards of work.
Key Responsibilities

Install electrical systems in line with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).

Carry out site surveys independently or with clients to assess requirements.

Provide professional assessments and feedback to project managers and clients.

Work with lighting control systems (e.g., Dali, Exor).

Ensure compliance with IEE regulations, NICEIC standards, and inspection/testing requirements.

Deliver high-quality work to encourage repeat business.
Requirements

Recognised electrical qualifications: City & Guilds 2360/2382 and 18th Edition.

Testing & Inspection qualification (C&G 2391 desirable).

CSCS Card.

Completed electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent).

Proven experience in electrical installations, ideally within commercial and residential environments.

Strong interpersonal skills, proactive attitude, and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Strong customer service and client-facing skills.
