This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established mechanical and electrical engineering contractor delivering end-to-end infrastructure, asset management and facilities solutions across the commercial, industrial and public sectors. The business provides design, installation, maintenance and long-term asset management services on some of the UK''s most critical infrastructure projects.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to recruit an experienced M&E Estimator to support the tendering of complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure projects.

The Role

• Preparing accurate mechanical and electrical estimates for infrastructure projects.
• Reviewing tender documentation, specifications and drawings.
• Producing cost plans, quotations and competitive tender submissions.
• Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal delivery teams to obtain accurate pricing.
• Supporting value engineering initiatives and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Hybrid working with occasional travel to the South-East London office and project sites.

The Person

• M&E Estimator or Senior Estimator with a mechanical and/or electrical background.
• Experience estimating infrastructure projects such as highways, rail, tunnels, bridges, airports, ports or other major civil engineering works.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
