An opportunity has opened for an M&E Buyer to join a construction and building services company based in Harlow. The ideal candidate will have a background working as a Buyer and have excellent experience sourcing mechanical and electrical materials for building services and construction projects.

M&E Buyer Key Skills:

• Experience as a Buyer within construction, building services or similar
• Mechanical and Electrical materials buying experience
• Excellent sourcing knowledge
• Any plumbing materials buying for large scale projects would be a bonus
• Negotiation and excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once

M&E Buyer Responsibilities:

• Sourcing, negotiating and procuring mechanical and electrical materials for large construction / building services projects
• Evaluating quotations to ensure the best price for projects
• Keeping within in project deadlines at all times
• Maintain and develop supplier relationships
• Work with the whole supply chain to manage any delays
