Hours: 39 paid hours per week on days or 37 paid hours per week on nights
Working pattern: Rolling two week rota. Days 7:15am to 9:15pm. Nights 9:15pm to 7:15am
Driving: Drivers preferred

These vacancies are for male Support Workers. You must have at least six months’ previous care or support experience and be able to work the stated day or night rota.
Drivers are preferred. A full UK driving licence would be advantageous, but is not essential.
You must already have the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for these roles. We cannot take over existing sponsorship.

Transforming Support Coulsdon is looking for Male Support Workers to join the team at Chipstead Court, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
You will build trusted relationships, support everyday living and help each person achieve what matters to them. These are full time, permanent positions, with day and night opportunities available.

Transforming Support provides person centred supported living and outreach services for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs across the UK.
The focus is on helping each individual retain as much control over their life as possible, with support that promotes dignity, independence and choice.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting individuals with everyday living and maintaining their independence.
- Helping people make choices about their routines, activities and lifestyle.
- Supporting access to the local community, appointments, education, employment and social activities.
- Providing support with health needs and medication in line with agreed procedures.
- Helping individuals manage their tenancy, finances and household responsibilities where required.
- Building positive relationships with the people you support, their families and other professionals.
- Encouraging confidence, independence and positive risk taking in line with support plans.
- Maintaining accurate support records and completing required documentation.
- Following safeguarding, health and safety and risk management procedures.
- Working closely with colleagues to provide consistent support.
About you
Alongside at least six months’ care or support experience, you will bring:
- A commitment to independence, dignity and choice.
- A calm, respectful, reliable and responsible approach.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Confidence supporting adults with individual and complex needs.
- The ability to maintain accurate records and follow agreed support plans.
- Availability for the required rolling two week shift pattern.
- An understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and health and safety.
Previous experience in supported living, learning disabilities or complex needs would be particularly useful.
