The role requires compassion, professionalism and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals in your care.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality care and support tailored to individual needs.Support service users to access the communityAssist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and other professionals.Uphold the values of dignity and respect, promoting independence and choice for Service Users.Respond calmly and professionally to challenging situations, fostering a safe environment.Person Specification:Values:Treat people with dignity and respect, adhering to the Equality Act 2010.Promote Service Users'' rights and choices while maintaining confidentiality.Work empathetically and support positive outcomes for individuals.Education and Qualifications:Proficiency in literacy, numeracy, and communication skills appropriate to the role.SVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care (desirable).Relevant training in COSHH, Health and Safety, and Moving and Handling (desirable).Experience:Previous experience in a care environment (essential).Experience supporting individuals with additional needs (essential).Skills:Excellent communication and teamwork ..... full job details .....
