Male SEN Teaching Assistant - Personal Care Location: Birmingham / Walsall / Tamworth / StaffordshirePosition: SEN Teaching AssistantEmployment Type: Day-to-day / Supply / ongoing LongtermStart Date: Immediate / September Aspire People are currently recruiting for Male SEN Teaching Assistants to work within specialist SEND schools across Birmingham, Walsall, Tamworth and Staffordshire. We are looking for caring, patient and resilient Male Teaching Assistants who are confident supporting pupils with additional needs and are comfortable providing personal care where required. The successful candidate will support pupils within the classroom, working alongside teaching staff to create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment. You may be supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis, assisting with learning, communication, behaviour and personal development. The role may include:Supporting pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD and complex needsProviding personal care and supporting pupils with their daily routinesSupporting pupils with challenging or complex behavioursWorking on a 1:1 and small-group basisSupporting communication and social developmentAssisting teachers with classroom activities and learningHelping to maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing environmentThe ideal candidate:Has previous experience working with children or young peopleHas experience within SEND, care, residential, youth work or educationIs confident and comfortable with ..... full job details .....
