About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Male Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive school in the L36 area. This role involves working closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students both academically and emotionally, helping them to access the curriculum and develop independence in a safe and structured environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SENAssist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs)Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policiesPromote a positive, nurturing learning environmentWork collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external professionalsSupport pupils with personal care where requiredRequirements:Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant (essential)Experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, and/or SEMH needsStrong behaviour management skillsA patient, resilient, and empathetic approachRelevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) desirableEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain ..... full job details .....
