SEMH Teaching Assistant - South East London - September Start - 100- 117 per dayRemedy Education are looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a school in South East London from September.The school supports pupils who may present with social, emotional and mental health needs, challenging behaviour, anxiety, low confidence or barriers to learning. This role would suit a candidate who is patient, firm but fair, and passionate about helping young people make progress.The Role:Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needsSupporting pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour choicesHelping pupils access lessons and stay focused throughout the dayBuilding strong, trusting relationships with pupilsSupporting positive behaviour plans and personalised strategiesWorking with teachers and pastoral teams to support pupil wellbeingEncouraging pupils to develop confidence, resilience and independenceThe Ideal Candidate Will:Have experience supporting young people with SEMH or challenging behaviourBe confident setting boundaries and maintaining routinesHave a calm, consistent and supportive approachBe able to manage difficult situations professionallyHave experience in schools, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring or careBe available full-time from SeptemberThe Role Offers: 100- 117 per daySeptember startSouth East London school locationLong-term roleSupportive staff teamOpportunity to make a real impact on pupils'' progress and wellbeingPlease ..... full job details .....
