Our local authority client based in the West Midlands are urgently seeking an experienced Major Projects Programme Delivery Lead.Paying up to £900 a day UmbrellaHybrid working - 3 days on site a weekThe AssignmentReporting directly to the Director of Growth and Place, the Major Projects Programme Lead will provide senior programme leadership across Dudley''s most significant regeneration, infrastructure and place-based initiatives.Working across the Communities and Growth Leadership Team and alongside colleagues from Development and Regulation, the postholder will bring together a broad portfolio of projects into a single coherent programme, ensuring strategic alignment, effective governance and successful delivery.The immediate priority is to lead and execute the Council''s Operational Readiness Programme for Metro Phase 2 and Dudley Interchange, ensuring the Council is fully prepared for their successful launch in October and November 2026.Alongside operational readiness, the postholder will ensure that this once-in-a-generation transport investment becomes the catalyst for wider regeneration, economic growth and place-making by maximising opportunities for investment and coordinating delivery across the wider Dudley programme.The successful candidate will also act as the Council''s client lead for the Dudley Ecosystem Masterplan, overseeing procurement, mobilisation and delivery of the commission whilst ensuring the emerging masterplan is informed by colleagues, ..... full job details .....
