Major Gifts and Individual Giving Lead

Who we are Hospice at Home s skilled team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants provide our exceptional core services of palliative and end of life care and support people in their last year of life also providing additional services such as Lymphoedema, Bereavement and Family Support, Befriending, Occupational Therapy and Complementary Therapy. We provide individualised care and support to improve quality of life and our end of life care helps facilitate a peaceful and dignified death in the home and support to those who are bereaved. Although we receive some funding from the NHS, we need to raise over 85% of our running costs in order to ensure that this vital help is available when needed and remains free of charge to patients and their families. Our clinical service area covers a mixture of urban and rural communities, a region of approximately 1,500 square miles throughout North and East Cumbria Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Major Gifts and Individual Giving Lead to join our fundraising team. This role leads the operational development of Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland s Major Gifts, Individual Giving and Legacy programmes, and support in the development of Trust and Foundation applications. As a new area of focus for the organisation, the postholder will be responsible for designing, launching and growing a full supporter journey for individual donors from regular giving through to mid value, major gifts and Legacy giving. ..... full job details .....
