Major Donor Manager - Mid-Level Donors

OverviewThe Major Donor Manager will focus on cultivating and managing relationships with mid-value donors to support key fundraising initiatives within the not-for-profit sector. This role is based in London and requires a strategic approach to donor engagement and stewardship.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to engage and retain major donors effectively.
Identify prospective donors and create tailored approaches to secure high-value contributions.
Work closely with internal teams to align donor communications with organisational goals.
Prepare compelling proposals, reports, and presentations for donor engagement.
Monitor and evaluate the success of major donor programmes, ensuring continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and contributions using the CRM system.
Represent the organisation at donor events and networking opportunities.
Stay informed about trends within the not-for-profit sector to shape fundraising strategies.
Profile / Qualifications
Proven experience in managing relationships with mid or high-value donors or clients.
Strong skills in developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including proposal writing.
Familiarity with CRM systems and donor databases.
An understanding of the not-for-profit sector and its fundraising landscape.
A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving fundraising targets.
