      <description>Location: Manchester | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | Key Responsibilities:    The Maintrol Engineer will act as the central coordination point between Line Stations, third-party maintenance providers and pilots to ensure safe and reliable daily operations. Responsibilities include:   Managing scheduled and unscheduled Line Maintenance activities, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and maintenance programme requirements  Controlling and monitoring Acceptable Deferred Defects (ADDs), driving timely rectification and coordinating required spares, tooling and documentation  Supporting aircraft recovery through technical guidance, logistics coordination and oversight of crew duty-time limitations  Providing real-time technical assistance to flight crews and engineers during in-flight or ground-based operational issues  Coordinating information flow following aircraft incidents and contributing to recovery planning  Allocating aircraft in line with operational, engineering, and maintenance priorities  Improving aircraft and Engineering performance through proactive use of aircraft monitoring and prognostic tools  Providing specialist technical support as required with due regard for safety, technical, regulatory, and commercial requi...</description>
